Outstanding Korean fall front marriage chest made from solid elm wood in excellent condition. The front is beautifully decorated with attractive shaped and etched brass hardware. Standing on a shaped stand and short oriental cabriole feet. The interior is lined with paper with oriental style writing. Its warm colouring and rich graining gives this chest real charm and character, Over many years of use it has collected some imperfections however these only add to its appeal as a very functional antique. This is a very decorative item with great colouring and amazing patina that will look stunning wherever it is placed.
