A handsome antique King Size Victorian mahogany headboard dating from circa 1880s. In a richly figured mahogany it features a dentil cornice above a frieze of carved harebells over three panels. Originally part of a bedstead, now makes a wonderful feature headboard. It is of generous proportions at 168cm wide, so would work well with a king-size divan, or could even work for 2 singles pushed together.

Good condition. Beautiful patina and good colour. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Holes to bottom of legs where original side rails would have fitted. Originally part of a bedstead.
