John Verow of BARTON
An attractive 30hour longcase clock by John Verow of Barton Leicestershire . Full name of this villiage is Barton in the beans .
This maker was working between 1790 and 1795 and was apprentice to the wery well known and respected maker Samuel Deacon also of Barton .
This cottage 30 hour antique clock is very typical of antique clocks from this area and movement is cased in one of the usual style cases with architectural pediment to the hood .
The movement is well made and very typical of a Deacon/Verow type movement .
The oak case and movement are in very fine condition .
