A superb Japanese carved display cabinet, crafted in dark hardwood and presented in excellent antique condition. (One side shows a bit of sun bleaching as pictured). The top is crowned with a pair of beautifully pierced and intricately carved pelmets, each depicting powerful dragons in swirling motion. The cabinet door has 1 working lock with key and open to reveal a wonderfully carved interior, fitted with shaped shelves whose fronts are richly detailed. The glazed front and sides allow light to flood the cabinet, ensuring that any displayed pieces are shown to their best advantage. Below the main display section sit two smooth‑running drawers, offering practical storage above a deeply carved apron and elegant legs. A striking piece, ideal for displaying small ceramics, or treasured. Its craftsmanship, detail, and sculptural quality make it an eye‑catching addition to any interior.
