A small, pale oak Longcase antique clock by James Calver, Diss (Norfolk). 8 day weight driven movement striking the hours on a bell. Early, 12”, Wilson painted dial with strawberry decoration to the corners and the added bonus of a strike/silent to the arch. The break arched case is of light oak with reeded columns to the hood door, and an applied moulding to the long trunk door.
