An exceptional walnut card table, Irish, dating from circa 1735-40. The quality is unmistakeable. The top has re-entry corners and quarter inch herringbone inlay set in around the edge. It has a small oak lined drawer to the front with an escutcheon resembling a lady. It has wonderful carving to the top of the legs, which end in typically Irish paw feet.

The back legs fold out to support the table when it is open. There has been some slight shrinkage to the top and, of course, the baize has been replaced (probably many times).

This is a lovely table and basically all original. All items are sold with a 14 day money back guarantee.
