An attractive late C18th George III Sheraton design mahogany wine cellarette with box-wood, satinwood and stained wood inlay. The rectangular hinged lid having cross banding, boxwood and ebony stringing with chequer inlaid edging and a Sheraton oval inlaid bird and tree to the centre.The front with conforming inlay and brass escutcheon with working lock and keys. The interior fitted for 6 bottles and the whole raised on square tapering boxwood strung legs with satinwood banding. This cellarette retains a label for “Nolan & Sons, Antique Art Department, Dublin”. Condition - Very good. Dimensions:- Height…24.75’’/ 63cm. Width…18.25’’/ 46cm. Depth…12’’/ 30.5cm.
