Large Inlaid Musical Theme Burr Walnut Marquetry Centre Dining Table

This is an outstanding piece, the table is made with fine quality Burr Walnut and is decorated with many different woods, the inlay is on the theme of music, both that of bird song and musical instruments, There are 8 separate and different scenes around the outer rim of the table joined with flower and swags of ribbons and in the centre a large scene

The workmanship and detail of this piece is exceptional, the 3 footed leg of the table is made in superbly carved walnut, the table has a tilt top mechanism so it can be display the wonderful top to best advantage or indeed as a show stopping centre table

The table is in good condition for its age, it is 60” in diameter and 30” high in the horizontal position
