A fine George V silver inkwell of very large proportions formed as a bell with ring handle. Fitted with a deep clear glass liner. A simple monogram is engraved to the front. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1912, makers A & J Zimmerman.

It measures 14cm (5 1/2") high and 12.5cm (4 15/16") wide. Total weight 615g, it has a weighted base.

It is in very good condition: the ring handle has been neatly repaired at the base. A few really tiny surface dinks here and there and the marks are slightly rubbed. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
