Classic late 19th.c. farmhouse kitchen armchair c.1890. High triple bar backrest, with shaped arms on turned spindle supports. Seat made from a single elm board of particularly good grain (width of seat between the arm supports 13½") . Raised on turned legs, splayed for stability and joined with an H stretcher. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
