A very decorative antique mahogany double bed in the manner of Heals of London and dating from circa 1920s. In wonderfully figured warm mahogany with an open fret work construction with arched top rail, in an early Art Deco influenced design. The headboard being taller than the footboard, it has a Vono frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled. Comprising of a headboard, footboard and iron rails which make a very solid bed fame. (no base or mattress included). Complete with a Vono spanner for easy assembly.

Condition Report:
Solid and sturdy with good original patina. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Some small filled-in screw holes either side of the lower section of the headboard. (see photo).
