A scarce linen press made of Chestnut by Ambrose Heal in about 1900. The interior is lined with oak and the draw interiors and dividers are also of oak. There is some small damage to the beading of the lower draws and the top right hand corner of the base. This was not replaced when the item was renovated because they were in keeping with the age and use of the item and do not detract from its character.The top and the base seperate.
