Good looking and sensibly sized 6 drawer English oak plan chest with little tin numbered oval stamp to the bottom of the side – we would assume from an educational background. Good looking chap with panelled sides.

This one sits in good order and with a pleasing tone and grain to the oak. We have ensured that the chest is ready to place – clean drawers inside, waxed drawer runners and careful refurbishment without losing its past, so expect the chest to sit firm with no wobbles and have day to day usage and historic marks to the top. The chest sits on its original plinth and separates into two for easier lifting and placing. Smells fine!

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
