A lovely Gwenda powder compact which was made to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. This compact is suitable for use with loose face powder or as a handbag mirror. The lid is decorated with a design showing HM Queen Elizabeth II looking absolutely radiant. The interior is beautiful with a deep rich golden patina. The hinge is signed GWENDA BRITISH MADE. The original lid protector, box, pouch, puff & sifter are present. The mirror is excellent and gives an accurate and good reflection. The base is decorated with a guilloche design. All clasps and hinges work very well.
