Greenhouse Thermometer
An unusual hanging brass thermometer by Taylor Bros, Rochester, New York. The distinctive triangular design is capped at either end with decorated domes with applied flower motifs. The bubble is complete though the red dyed liquid is bleached out. The thermometer retains its original hanging chain and clip. USA, circa 1880. 17cm long, 36cm hanging with chain.
