Great Western Railway desk chair desk chair GWR great western railway %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Great Western Railway station masters desk chair with crinoline stretcher and buttoned faux leather.
Very well made and comfortable desk chair, but it's also really decorative and has a great look to it. Certainly a desk chair that you would be happy to sit in for hours, the tub back shape being just the right height for comfortable support and the chair has been recently re upholstered in this red faux leather and buttoned.
The frame is well carved and turned, cleaned and polished.
You will notice one of the photos showing the back legs of the chair has some previous restoration, which is absolutely solid and firm.
The G.W.R stamp is underneath the crinoline stretcher
