Good Vintage Large Format Film Camera Stand Tripod
A stunning and imposing Antique Large Format Tripod / Stand.
Fashioned from wonderful cast grey metal and solid Ash sliding / extending legs.
This tripod has the 'Industrial Chic' look in spades and today would make an exceptional design feature for the home, studio or office - perhaps adapted into a light or industrial lamp stand....or simply to display in it's own right, as is.
This is a large piece - 118.5 cms long when folded up. The height will extend by approx 67cms with the legs extended.
Really interesting design features throughout. I particularly like the cast spindles to each leg, which each tighten or slacken a clamp on the inner adjustable legs.
Maker unknown but beautifully marked '1713' and '1718'.
Please call or email for a full condition report.
