A good quality and unusual Queen Anne style walnut bookcase. The cross banded top with cross grain moulded edge above the cockbeaded frieze.The 2 glazed doors having good applied cross grain astragal mouldings with working lock and key and the doors open to reveal 4 adjustable shelves. The whole raised on off set cross grain mouldings with Queen Anne style short cabriole legs and shell carved knees. Maker's label for SIMKIN of Colchester. Dimensions:- Height…54.25’’/ 138cm.
