A superb quality Maples & Co. of London & Paris large antique solid oak roll top desk. The desk has the better quality solid fielded panels all around and the slatted tambour runs smoothly in the “S” shaped sides. The stunning fitted interior having a combination of 27 drawers and various pigeonholes. The pedestals with graduated drawers and wooden handles with pull out slides above. The desk stands on plinth bases with hidden casters.In very good condition, fully cleaned and waxed with key. Can transport in 4 pieces.Brass plaque for Maples & Co. with working lock and keys. When the tambour is shut the pedestal drawers are locked at the same time. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £85. Dimensions:- Height…50.5’’/ 128cm. Width…50.25’’/ 127.5cm. Depth…34.25’’/ 87cm.
