Good Antique French Walnut Centre Table
This superb 19th century French walnut centre or side table is probably the best example of this design that you will ever see.
In terms of its design and form it has everything going for it, with beautiful elegant proportions and swept curved features throughout that are enhanced with elegantly carved detail. The curved and scrolling understretchers sweep in to elevate the central crisply carved acanthus flower head. The elegant cabriole legs have crisp carved detail with beautiful carving to the curved frieze and useful long drawer in the end of the table.
The surface has a lovely bookmatched quarter veneered top which is in excellent, clean condition.
A really outstanding example.
The table is a very good size, most imposing measuring 74 cms high by 103 cms wide by 70 cms deep.
UK delivery can be arranged with our local courier and costs £60 plus vat to most areas.
