An extremely rare Edwardian Globe Wernicke roll top office desk featuring a large tambour front which lifts to reveal numerous internal drawers and pen slides. This sits upon a pedestal base with pull out writing slides and a numerous amount of drawers which have internal dividers. Lower right hand drawer is a large file drawer. This Globe wernicke roll top desk is in lovely condition considering that it has been used constantly in an office environment, and with its large writing area, it could easily take a considerably sized laptop. All of the drawers and the tambour front run smoothly, and it still retains the original key. This beautiful globe wernicke roll top desk breaks down into five individual pieces for ease of transportation and reassembly, and with its classic name ‘Globe Wernicke’, this is truly a quality piece of office antique furniture.
