Late 19th.c. Louis XV style gilded marble top console table c.1880. Attractively figured and shaped marble top with a moulded edge. Superb carved and gilded base with a pierced apron with elaborate floral detail in gesso. Shapely cabriole legs with acanthus feet and joined with a decorative pierced stretcher. Presented as found with some splits and missing portions of gesso (most obvious to the side of the left hand leg. Otherwise good condition with original gilding.
