Smart French display easel or stand c.1900. Simple A-frame design with a shaped stretcher with metal hooks to hold a painting or menu board perhaps. Moulded detail to the front and original gilt finish. Hinged back leg held in place with a brass chain. Good condition with only minor wear to the gilding.
