Longcase Clock by Gilbert and Kidd, 8 day brass face, good Mahogany case, typical of other cases I have seen by them. The movement is fine and works well, did not require a rebuild, I only had to it a basic service. Had to replace the door lock, this had been replaced before but rubbish little lock that did not work. Face was very tarnished so it was all taken to pieces dipped in solution and then re polished. All round a nice antique clock by a good maker made between 1760 and 1780
