Georgian Scottish Silver Fish Silce Edinburgh
A very nice, Antique, George III, Scottish Silver Fish Slice made by Francis Howden, Edinburgh and dating from 1812/13.
It is hallmarked with the makers mark "FH" for Francis Howden, The Monarch's Head duty mark, the Edinburgh "castle" town mark, the "thistle" Scottish Silver mark and the date letter "g" for 1812/13. It has engraved initials on the handle (possibly "FCS").
