A fabulous Georgian metamorphic rise and fall buffet table. When closed the table makes for a lovely console table, and by simply lifting the tabletop the table splits into three tiers. Superb grain pattern and colour to all surfaces, with lovely chunky column legs at each end, decorative accents and turned stretcher, all raised on attractive bun feet with original castors.

Beautifully restored, the rise and fall mechanism works smoothly and easily. There are a few old repairs and minor bits of age related wear (see images) but this is all very much part of the piece’s character. The table is robust and solid with just a little movement as is often the case with this kind of design.
