Delightful little Georgian mahogany gentleman’s night table or wash stand c.1800. Two piece top folds open to allow the original mirror to lift from the back edge and lock into place on an adjustable hinged stand with a brass push button to release the mechanism. Over drawers and a small compartment with a hinged door. A commode stool pulls out from the underneath. Both stool and stand re raised on brass castors allowing it to be easily moved around the room. Some wear and earlier repairs and restorations but generally good condition and a particularly nice colour, simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
