Elegantly simple George III mahogany fold-over tea table or console table. D-shape table top with reeded edge detail to top leaves. Original brass hinges opening to reveal a mahogany veneered interior. Inlaid detail to bottom of apron. Supported on square tapered legs terminating in original brass square-cap casters. Rear legs with inset pads to protect the opened leaf. Closed the table measures 91 cm wide, 45 cm in depth and is 74 cm in height.
In good condition commensurate with age and use - retaining its original finish. Historic knocks, marks and wear as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture. No losses. All joints are sound. Please see images as these form an important part of the description. Viewing by appointment only.
