Georgian C1815 mahogany extending twin pedestal dining table, early 19th Century. Sought after gun barrel pedestal stems and brass hairy paw castors.
The table has a lovely colour. The finishes are in good order with historic knocks, marks, wear and imperfections buried beneath generations of polish and wax to form a great patina. A charming waviness to the top.
An attractive table that is solid, strong and has no loose joints or woodworm.
Would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions: 225cmL (including one 69cm extension leaf that can be removed) x 116cmW x 69cmH.
In good antique condition with historic knocks, marks, repairs, alterations, wear and imperfections as you would expect, buried beneath generations of polish and wax to form a great patina. Historical repairs as is to be expected... all is good and strong now. Some historic cracking to the top that is stable and has been glued and filled.
