This is a very opulent hanging corner cabinet. It dates to the reign of George III around 1820. The cabinet is made in particularly opulent flame mahogany which has faded to a wonderful goldie red colour. The hanging corner cabinet has bow fronted doors over a plinth base with a low cornice above. The inlay is particularly striking with boxwood lines and ebany detail. It is very crisp.The cabinet retains its original H shaped brass hinges and wonderfully bone escutcheons. The key and lock are original and works well.

The cabinet is shelved. The interior is as good as the exterior.

The cabinet is in good antique condition. The mahogany is rich and with a good polish.

This is a very elegant Georgian hanging cabinet. It would be a good place to store bottles and glasses. It will look good in a principal room furnished in period antiques.

The corner cupboard is 42 inches high and 17 inches deep and the sides run along the wall from the corner point for 18 inches on both sides and the cupboard is 27 inches wide.
