A fine Georgian long case clock, the movement contained in a figured mahogany case. The eight-day striking five pillar movement with an arch dial and a subsidiary strike/silent dial over a matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial and a calendar aperture, within a silvered chapter ring. Inscribed Chas Gretton London, this antique clock was part of a renowned collection and has been in store for a good number of years. This fine piece would make an excellent addition to a collection or simply to enhance the decor and interest to a fine home. The clock comes complete with a brass pendulum, brass sheathed weights, door key and a winder.
