A fine Georgian lead tobacco pot.
This piece features a charming scene of two people enjoying each other's company at the dinner table, set within a decorative frame, repeated on both sides of the lead tobacco pot.
On top of the lid, a small dog appears, lying down with its paw raised slightly. Around the octagonal pot, more decorative patterns appear on each panel, making this a superb decorative piece for the home.
Period: Georgian. (C. 1750)
