Georgian Carved Oak Bureau Bookcase Desk Writing
Antique quality Georgian C1780 carved oak bureau bookcase desk writing table.
This is a lovely item, that is full of age, charm and character. A very decorative piece that a tremendous amount of work went into.
We have a keys.
Solid with no loose joints and all of the drawers slide freely.
Great age and patina. Splits into two halves for transport.
Overall maximum dimensions 95cmW x 53cmD x 204cmH (72<76cmH writing surface).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There are some stains inside the drawers as is to be expected. Some historic extinct woodworm holes (the norm for period oak), that we have treated for good measure.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
