A fabulous quality, English antique oak break fronted bookcase, a lovely, simple timeless design.
Dating from around 1800, in superb condition inside and out.
Although this Georgian antique oak bookcase is a large model, it splits into very manageable sections.
Under moulded cornice is a band of decorative, burr oak, the four doors along the top, all have two panels.
In the lower bookcase section, again four doors with single long panels.
All the large brass keyholes are present and original.
Inside this impressive antique oak bookcase is a mass of fully adjustable bookshelving, the bookshelevs having reeded fronts.
In superb condition, the oak timber is a lovely, even colour. A good, large size and not too deep.
