Antique Georgian 18C and later oak desk writing or dressing table.
Solid, heavy and strong, with no loose joints and the oak lined drawers slide freely.
A rare find that is full of character and charm.
Mix of period and later handles.
Lovely small proportions.
Overall maximum dimensions
89cmW x 58cmD x 70cmH (29cmW x 57cmH x 28cmD knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, scratches, cracks, repairs and alterations as is always the way and to be expected with antique furniture. Some extinct woodworm holes as would be expected, that have been treated for good measure. No keys and most of the locks are missing. Some historic cracking but all is well glued, stabilised and strong.
