George III, English Silver Milk Pot 1792
A very nice George III, English Silver Milk Pot made in London and dating from c1792.
It is hallmarked on the base with the crowned Leapord's head London town mark, the Lion Passant silver mark, the Monarch's head duty mark, the maker's mark (slightly worn) and date letter "r" for 1792/93.
The base also has a later inscription "Prizes 1887, AH 1888".
