Beautiful walnut kneehole desk,circa 1740 in date, with quartered and cross banded 'herringbone' top with inverted corners, complete with 8 drawer base and central cupboard door, standing on sturdy bracket feet. A lovely piece of early 18th century English antique furniture with exquisite proportions as to be expected from perhaps the zenith of English cabinet making..
