Antique French Shop Apothecary Oak Counter, c 1880.

An absolutely incredible and extremely rare solid oak French shop counter, deriving from a Parisian apothecary chemists, dating from the late 19th century.

Almost 4 metre inlaid oak top with original brass light socket fittings over seven fielded panelled sides to plinth base. The interior with open shelving and five frieze drawers with brass handles. Benefiting from original colour and patination throughout, this is a very heavy and sturdy piece.
