French painted single door Armoire
Original painted French Armoire (a11386)
Very decorative French painted armoire with original deep bevelled mirror glass and original paint finish too...circa 1880
The armoire has aged beautifully, the paint wear is consistant throughout and gives the "distressed" look naturally.
Please look through the images so you can get an idea, this is certainly a "chic" piece, but not "shabby!"
It is a well made armoire and very well carved, the cornice especially. Being the age it is, the are signs of age, bnut that adds to the character of this armoire.
This is a quality piece by a Marseille maker
Internally, it is for adjustable shelves - there are 3 shelves although not photographed.
There is a drawer at the base too, although no handles...we will fit a pair of handles for you!
The dimensions are 92`` high x 46`` wide x 20`` deep and 15`` internally
