A good quality French tortoiseshell mantel antique clock. Well cast ormolu case mounts and fretted sound panels to the sides. A convex enamel dial with 5-minute outer markers with fine gilt hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Circa 1890.
