A stunning gilt ormolu Loius XVI style timepiece mantel antique clock. It has a waisted case, with champleve enamel panels. The hand painted enamel dial has ornate pierced hands and a paste jewel set outer bezel. The 8 day pendulum movement is stamped "CJ CC". (France, c. 1890)

Current Condition
The case retains its original high-gilded finis, the enamel is in perfect condition. The movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. We have been established since 1978, dealing in and restoring most antiques, specialising in clocks and furniture. We have our own workshops where we carry out specialist restoration work.-
