This is a super quality French mahogany Bateau lit single bed, circa 1880
The is veneered with a mahogany known as "plum pudding" which is the little burr you can see, it is also inlaid most likely with a fine band of maple
This is a very elegant bed, a good size too and very solid.
The bed is supplied to you with a supporting base or slatted base ( depending on required height ) and we can supply mattresses to fit, or if you are looking to use this as a sofa / day bed, you may prefer to use a memory foam or have actual seat cushions made up
Dimensions are
Headboard height 42 1/2"
