French Gueridon Centre Table With Brass Mounts
A very good quality and unusual French mid c19th mahogany "gueridon" centre table with brass mounts and lions paw feet on a raised platform base.
I have literally only just had this arrive, so I will be updating the photographs once I have polished the base.
The condition is very good with just some light touching up required to the base only and a good polish.
The original marble top is in good condition.
The apron of the table top has a full band of tooled brass and there are further brass mounts to the pedestal base too.
Great piece of antique furniture, decorative and an unusual model.
Measuring:
28 3/4” or 73cm high
32” or 81cm diameter
25 1/2” or 65.5cm from the floor to the underside Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
