French Fruitwood Dining Table With Breadboard
In fine condition this is a lovely dining table. It is French, 19thC and later, and comes with a single frieze drawer towards one end of the side, and a pull out bread-board (in elm) at the far end.
It has a good thick top and square section tapering legs that have been re-tipped. Its colour is a particular delight, warm and inviting, and it is a very tactile piece of antique furniture, both beautiful and practical. It could stand against a wall, or sit in the middle of a room where it will be admired by all who see it.
It measures 160cms x 73.5 and is 79 cms tall. The knee clearance is 61.5 cms. My shop at 1 Bridge St, Dulverton TA22 9HJ is open
