French Figured Walnut Commode or Chest of Drawers dating from 1860
A Superbly Figured French Walnut Chest of Five Drawers, 2 of the drawers are concealed, one in the plinth at the bottom of the chest and the other in the moulding beneath the marble top
The chest has the most superbly matched quarter veneers, the marble top in good condition, there is very minor chipping to the veneers, these have been repaired and one of the drawer bottoms has been replaced, the chest is of very solid construction it has no creaks, woodworm and the drawers run very smoothly
The chest measures 38" high 51" wide and 23" deep
