Impressive French Empire style brass mounted mahogany and marble top console table c.1930. Pale marble top over a single long drawer and an open display shelf with unusual curved gallery at the rear. Large Classical inspired brass mount of a winged goddess with flaming torches to the drawer front and smaller dancing figures to each side. The front stiles featuring tapering pilasters mounted with Classical female heads, laurel leaf garlands and bare feet. Extensive brass mouldings across the piece and raised on large brass claw feet at the front. Good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
