Very smart French Empire style mahogany and marble top bookcase c.1930. Useful narrow dimensions, just 31″ wide. Well figured grey marble top over a two door bookcase fitted with three adjustable shelves (depth 16″). Wavey brass grill to the doors and flanked with a fine pair of long mahogany columns with Empire style brass mounts top and bottom. Further mounts to the apron and doors with attractive palmate detail. Note how the columns continue through the plinth to turned and moulded front feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
