Circa 1850, French Empire commode or chest of drawers. The flecked, rectangular grey marble top is above a full-length oak-lined frieze drawer with gilt bronze circular handles and foliate escutcheon and flanked by ormolu garland mounted panel. The 3 full-length oak lined drawers flanked by pilasters with acanthus and honeysuckle ormolu mounts all above a hidden base drawer and shaped feet.
