This is a large and superior quality antique French Louis XV revival cherry wood farmhouse table from the Restauration period, circa 1820, in original condition. This table would have been constructed for use in either country or townhouse property in France during the Restauration period. The table, which comfortably seats 10 persons and 12 at a push, is unusually wide at 4ft, which is very useful as it allows plenty of space in centre of the table for serving plates. The table features a beautiful cherry wood top with a lovely grain configuration finished with cleated ends. Underneath, there is a very pretty shaped beaded apron. The table frame, which is constructed in the traditional peg construction, sits on four very pretty and refined cabriole legs. The table boasts a superb colour and is in excellent original condition.

The table boasts a rich yellow/red mellow cherry wood colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
