French Farmhouse table. c 1860
This delightful French provincial Family table is dated to about C 1860. It seats 10 to 12 people comfortably and has plenty of leg room with a floor to apron height of 24.5 inches. Every joint is firm and sturdy and the top is level and straight with no dips! The dimensions of the table are 96.5 ins long. 33.5 ins deep and 30 ins high. It has a mid sheen finish and warm mellow patination.
The table stands on slender and elegant legs, has an attractive shaped apron and the benefit of a cutlery drawer at one end and pull out bread board at the other end.
It is shown here in exceptional condition, having been thoroughly checked , lightly refurbished and finally wax polished to display the beautiful rich grain and antique patina of the Cherry Wood.
A really beautiful table, ideal for family and social gatherings.
